For Star Wars fans looking forward to John Jackson Miller’s Kenobi, Star Wars Insider #143 has a nice treat: the short story “Incognito.” Set during the events of Revenge of the Sith (during Obi-Wan’s trip to Tatooine) and including three new illustrations by artist Chris Scalf, “Incognito” is a fun little story that acts as a great teaser for Kenobi.
The story focuses on an elderly Kedorzhan named Dewell who has booked a passage on the same ship as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Like Obi-Wan, Dewell is on the run and in hiding. The story highlights the similarities of their paths and the hardships that are yet to come. However, Dewell’s path is not the same as Obi-Wan’s. It’s a pleasant story with an interesting character, a nice moral and a tantalizing taste of what’s to come in Kenobi.
If you’re not a subscriber to Star Wars Insider, it would definitely be worth your time to check this one out, even if you only read it in the store. Star Wars Insider #143 will be out on store shelves on July 23rd.
