The Black Series: Prototype Armor Boba Fett

The Black Series Prototype Armor Boba Fett is a Walgreens exclusive. Based on the existing six inch Boba Fett but with white armor, I thought this was a figure I could pass on. However, upon seeing it on the pegs, I couldn’t resist and had to have it. Below you’ll find my review of the figure with lots of pics.

As you can see, the prototype armor sports a lot of white. His accessories (blaster rifle and blaster pistol) are solid black.

Boba Fett’s cape sports a gray stripe as you can see below.

And his wrist rocket has a little bit of color with a splash of red which really stands out with all the white.

Using the existing mold, the figure has a superb sculpt. Color aside, it looks just like Boba Fett.

Posability is the same as the old Fett. Those pesky pouches in front limit a lot of articulation in the legs, but you can still pull off a few nice poses.

Side-by-side with the normal Fett, you can really see the differences in the two colorways.

One of the reasons I picked up the white armored Fett is because I thought it would make an easy figure for customization. However, for the moment, he’s staying white.
