  • Don’t forget The Perfect Weapon eBook by Delilah S. Dawson will be out next Tuesday. You can find pre-order links on Random House’s official product page.
  • The paperback release of Kevin Hearne‘s Heir to the Jedi will also be out next Tuesday.

Comic News

  • If you’re a completist comic collector, it’s time to quit or cry. The Chip Zdarsky Vader Down #1 variant cover is so rare that there are only about 12 of them and they’re going for $3,800. You can pick one up at Dynamic Forces if you’ve got the cash, but make it quick because they only have 3 copies.
  • has a preview for Darth Vader #13.
  • Comicosity has a preview for Chewbacca #4.
  • IDW has revealed they’ll be releasing an Al Williamson Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back Artist Edition HC.

  • For those who haven’t seen them or want to see them again, The Force Awakens TV spot #1.

  • Verizon has a new Star Wars ad out.
  • For those not wary of spoilers, Empire Magazine talks with Andy Serkis about his The Force Awakens character Snokes, they take a look at Constable Zuvio, Kylo Ren, and they talk with John Boyega.
  • Ratter has some interesting coverage of Anthony Daniels at the Star Wars and the Power of Costume Exhibit which include pictures, anecdotes and video clips.
  • Wired has a photo gallery of The Force Awakens props. It’s pretty cool. They show off the weapons and helmets.
  • Changi Airport now has a life size model of The Force Awakens X-Wing and TIE Fighter.
  • Star Wars artist Phil Noto took a shot at doing a The Force Awakens poster.


  • Beyond Star Wars, the next Alien movie will be called Alien: Covenant and will be out in 2017.
  • The trailer for The Huntsman: Winter’s War is out, but the movie won’t be out until April 2016.
  • This one looks interesting, Midnight Special, and it has a strong cast. It will be out March 18, 2016.

Toy & Collectible News

  • Sothebys will be hosting a Star Wars auction on December 11th. You can check out the items here.
  • If you’re toy hunting this weekend, make sure to check your local Walmarts as there are reports of the Star Wars: Battlefront Black Series 6-inch Stormtrooper hitting the pegs.
  • The Sideshow Ralph McQuarrie Boba Fett is up for pre-order.
  • Her Universe is heading to Hot Topic for The Force Awakens.
  • You can check out S.H. Figuarts First Order Riot Stormtrooper on Toyark.

Video Game News

  • If you’re playing Star Wars: Battlefront, and you’d like to know more about the music of the game, the Los Angeles Times has you covered as they talk with composer Gordy Haab who talks about catching the sound of John Williams.
  • The Comlink has released their second episode on the making of The Force Unleashed.
