It was recently announced that the old PC game Wasteland would be getting a sequel. The original game came out in 1988 (five years before Doom). One cool thing about this sequel is that the original creative team is back on board: Brian Fargo, Alan Pavlish, Mike Stackpole, and Ken St. Andre. Right now the game is in the kickstarter phase and is doing incredibly well. They are almost up to $2 million. If you’d like to help out, you can make a pledge to the kickstarter project here.
There are a lot of goodies depending on the size of your pledge. Pledges start at just $1. If you do $50, you’ll get a bunch of stuff including an episodic novella for the game written by Mike Stackpole (for $75 you’ll get the second novella and other goodies). Higher end pledges will earn you a spot in the game.
If you would like to learn more about the game and what to expect, just click on the link to the kickstarter project. It has tons of info.
