- Kevin J. Anderson‘s new serial The Dragon Business will be out next Tuesday and is up for pre-order now on Amazon. The eight part serial will get a new episode each week. It’s only $1.99 for all eight.
- Kevin also has a cover reveal for his upcoming novel The Dark Between the Stars. The cover is by Stephen Youll who did the cover art for several of the Star Wars anthologies books and The Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy.
- Daniel Wallace has a sneak peek at his upcoming book The Iron Man Manual which will be out Tuesday.

A Hero By Any Other Name is now available as an eBook on Amazon. This superhero anthology includes stories by Aaron Allston, Michael A. Stackpole, Janine K. Spendlove, Bryan Young, Maxwell Alexander Drake, R.T. Kaelin, Maggie Allen and Ron Garner.
Author Michael A. Stackpole posted on Facebook that he’ll be teaching online writing classes for Arizona State next year. Certainly something to keep in mind for those interested in furthering their education.
Martha Wells posted a teaser for her upcoming Raksura novella. For those who haven’t read her Books of the Raksura series yet, there is a discounted compilation available on Kindle, Nook and Kobo. Tom Taylor’s DC Comic series is still going with this week’s Injustice: Gods Among Us #7. With Shazam on the cover, can this issue step things up a notch? Hopefully, the answer is yes.
The tragic death of one of their own has further divided the heroes. Friendships fracture as paths are chosen. The citizens of Earth, too, are divided in their feelings on the heroes’ new, proactive roles, and Billy Batson wants to hear what they have to say. Author Christie Golden is heading to China. The trip is part of a promotional tour by Blizzard Entertainment and China’s New Star Press who are publishing World of Warcraft and StarCraft novels including books by Christie Golden. Christie will be signing at CapitaMall Crystal, Beijing on June 21, City of Books on Nanjing Road, Shanghai on June 23, and at Nanshan Book Mall in Shenzhen on June 25th. If you are a Christie Golden fan in China, this will be the perfect opportunity to meet her.
While roaming the web, I came across this cool video interview with Star Wars author Timothy Zahn from Starfest 2013. Kicking off this week’s Star Wars news is the world’s largest Star Wars toy: a 46,000 pound LEGO X-Wing.
In other news, EA revealed that fans will get their first glimpse of what’s to come for Star Wars at E3 next month.
Denver Comic Con is fast approaching and Star Wars artist Gabriel Hardman revealed he’ll be there and he’ll be doing sketches (details here). Also in attendance will be author Kevin J. Anderson who is debuting his new comic Stalag-X (and Dave Dorman is doing the covers).
Author Matthew Stover posted a guest blog on Orbit Books which breaks the norm by listing a bunch of interesting notes pertaining to stories, writing, and thensome.
