Stackpole, Kevin Hearne, and Terry Brooks, voice actor Sam Witwer, and artists Joe Corroney, Carlos D’Anda, Katie Cook, and Spencer Brinkerhoff. Unfettered is one step closer to completion now that all of the short stories have been submitted. The fantasy anthology features a huge list of talented authors including Terry Brooks, Patrick Rothfuss, Daniel Abraham, Peter V. Brett, R.A. Salvatore, Kevin Hearne and more. Right now they’re aiming for a May release so keep your eyes open for updates.

Star Wars Books pointed out on their Facebook page today that the re-release of Terry Brooks The Phantom Menace novelization is available in two sizes. Aside from the regular sized paperback version, there is a special oversized paperback available at Walmart stores. Both version include the same content, including the new short story by James Luceno called End Game. If you haven’t bought your copy yet, be sure to check out your local Wally World for this collector opportunity.

New Release: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Today the re-release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace hits book stores. The new version features a new cover, and a new short story by James Luceno.

There was a lot of back and forth with Dave about Maul and Maul’s background. The two short stories that I’ve written for the re-release of Shadow Hunter and the re-release of The Phantom Menace novelization are going to deal a lot more with Maul’s background and Maul’s early years. They almost could be chapters lifted from Darth Plagueis, but I didn’t want to change the point of view and take the story into recounting Maul’s episodes as well. –James Luceno

ARC for Terry Brooks The Measure of the Magic up for auction

Terry Brooks, Star Wars author of The Phantom Menace novelization, has a signed copy of the ARC for his upcoming novel The Measure of Magic on ebay. The novel is the second book in the Legends of Shannara duology and will be released on August 23rd this year. The auction however has a special purpose in that the proceeds are going to Terry’s friend, Shawn Speakman, who is undergoing cancer treatment and needs help to cover the costs for the treatments. Shawn is the author of The Dark Thorn and also the webmaster for authors Terry Brooks, Naomi Novik and David Anthony Durham.

If you’d like to help raise money for a good cause or would just like a chance to get a signed copy of The Measure of Magic ARC, then venture on over to ebay and place your bid.
