New Excerpt from Star Wars: Shadow Games

Suvudu has posted another excerpt from the upcoming Star Wars novel Shadow Games by Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff. This six page excerpt starts on page 55. You can read it here.

Shadow Games will be out on November 29, 2011.

Star Wars Books has released mini-excerpt #3 for the upcoming Star Wars novel Shadow Games by Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff.

Dash folded his arms. “It’s time to come clean, little miss Star Bright. It’s not that this guy likes you too much—it’s that this guy really doesn’t like you. And I’m not real happy myself,” he added. “I don’t like flying backward and blind through an asteroid field, I don’t like facing a rancor with one hand tied behind me, and I don’t like this.”

Shadow Games comes out November 29 in paperback and digital formats.

New Short Story in Star Wars Insider 128: “And Leebo Makes Three”

The story is entitled “And Leebo Makes Three” and it serves as a set up for the upcoming Star Wars: Shadow Games (which will be released on November 29). Keep in mind you can always check out Star Wars Insider by buying them individually and digitally online for just $4.19 per issue via Zinio Digital Magazines. They also provide a free preview of the issue which you can check out here, however you only get three free zooms so choose your pages carefully.

Update: Star Wars Books added the following mini excerpt…

“Confidence,” Dash retorted, annoyed at being pulled out of his pleasant reverie. “The Outrider is twice the ship the Falcon is.” As far as he was concerned Solo’s boat was a scow compared with Dash’s heavily modified YT-2400.

Shadow Games, coauthored by Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff, is set to be released sometime in October 2011. The artist for the cover is Scott Biel. Feel free to discuss the new cover and blurb over on the forums.
