‘The Art of Ralph McQuarrie: ARCHIVES’ Kickstarter

Dreams and Visions Press is running a kickstarter for a new Ralph McQuarrie book called The Art of Ralph McQuarrie: ARCHIVES. The goal is to take the out of print The Art of Ralph McQuarrie book, bring it back into print in a new format at a more affordable price point, and expand it by 1/3 with all new content. The 13” x 9.5”, 432 page hardcover book would span Ralph’s entire career (excluding Star Wars art).

Pledges start at $65 for those interested in getting a copy of the book (there are smaller levels that don’t include a copy of the book), however there’s only 100 spots open at that pledge level and they’re filling up fast. Afterwards, there will be 250 spots open at the $70 level. Once those fill up, you’ll have to pledge higher in order to get a copy.

For collectors interested in getting a fancier edition, they’re offering a clothbound numbered limited edition which starts at the $150 pledge level. There are also opportunities to get The Star Wars Art of Ralph McQuarrie (Japanese) book (which I have and is an excellent collection of Ralph McQuarrie’s Star Wars artwork), signed prints, canvas prints, etc.
