Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin is an all new series from Dark Horse Comics starring the one and only, Darth Vader. We’ve decided to take an in-depth look at the upcoming series to help give fans an idea of what’s to come. First up, the creators.
Behind the project is writer Tim Siedell, a new face in comic writing, but one of Time’s 140 Best Twitter Feeds. The pencils will be done by Stephen Thompson who previously illustrated the story “Jango’s Legacy” from the Star Wars: Republic 50: The Defense of Kamino. Another familiar face is colorist Michael Atiyeh whose worked on such Star Wars projects as Empire, Knights of the Old Republic, and Knight Errant. New to Star Wars is inker Mark Irwin whose worked with various comic companies including DC Comics on series like Batman: The Black Glove, Blackest Night: Green Lantern, Brightest Day, Justice League and more. Also new to Star Wars is cover artist Ariel Olivetti whose worked on JLA, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Cable, Punisher War Journal, X-Man and many others.
Dark Horse Comics Editor Randy Stradley shed some light on the series the other day in an interview with Comic Book Resources. Continue Reading Spotlight on ‘Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin’…
