Legacy – War #6 Released Today

Legacy – War #6 hits the shelves today. The final issue of the climatic series will hopefully wrap up most of the unanswered questions that have put fans on edge. Will Cade Skywalker kill Darth Krayt? Will Darth Krayt kill Cade Skywalker? Will John Ostrander’s cryptic comment surprise all of us and reveal that both die? Well today the answers will be revealed so be sure to check it out to find the answers.

Comic Reviews: Legacy – War #5

In issue five there was a shifting of gears as the story was throttled back and the art was shifted forward. Throughout the issue were nicely depicted close-ups of the characters, colorful action scenes, and a few panels fully charged with emotion that all contributed to a general boon in the art aspect. Yet the upswing in art went hand-in-hand with a weaker story. The issue covered too much in a short amount of time with a chaotic pace that felt rushed. To top it off, there is only one issue left to wrap up the entire series, and none of the major topics were concluded in this issue…

Issue #3 of Legacy – War is a one-two punch combination of story development and climatic action. Starting with story development, the final threads are wrapped up to bring all the characters to Taivas, the Jedi’s Hidden Temple. Characters make amends, factions finish their plans, and the stage is set for what might be the first battle in the end game. However, this is only the start of the story as Issue #3 goes right into the battle of the Hidden Temple. Sith, Jedi, the Alliance and Imperial Remnant, and Cade’s bunch all find themselves in an escalating action packed battle…

With issue one kicking off the new series, issue two plays its part by ramping up the storyline. Krayt and Cade each find themselves posturing fate for an eventful meeting; both seeking death. This course of a lethal dejarik game accurately sums up the three plot lines in this issue. Beside Cade and Krayt, Antares Draco is fighting a losing game against his ex-master-turned-Sith, Darth Havok. Lastly, as portrayed on the cover, is the deadly lover’s dance between Calixte and Veed…

Legacy – War #1 starts out with a beautiful image of a Sith ship flying through space and a chilling monologue by Darth Krayt. Together it is a good sign of what to expect throughout the series. Issue #1 is a dazzling array of panels filled with wonderful character art and luscious colors. The story stretches across both past and future as Krayt dwells on the past, and he and Cade both dream of the future. War kicks off the new series by giving readers a tantalizing taste of what’s to come…
