Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Bombad Radio: Episode 171 begins with some tv discussion on Marvel versus DC (Gotham, Flash, Arrow and cross-overs) then heads into a great interview with Star Wars artist Joe Corroney. Joe and Jeremiah talk about the GI Joe movies, Transformers, Star Trek, Star Wars, the difference between art for comic covers and book covers, depicting characters, and going to cons. Lot of great topics and well worth checking out. After hearing the interview with Joe, I really hope they interview some more Star Wars artists like Chris Trevas or Dave Dorman.

Far Far Away Radio: Episode 24 reviews Star Wars Rebels and includes some generally commentary on Star Wars and Disney. I have to say, they do a great job of juggling a large number of hosts and pulling it off without it being an issue. The payoff is a diversity of viewpoints. They each offer up their favorite characters from the show so far, their hopes for what the show we’ll do, who we might see next, and more. The show also has really good production quality which is always a plus…except for the terrible (yet slightly funny) impromptu rendition of Star Wars that’s partially hummed and ab libbed by one of the hosts :)

Full of Sith: Episode LXXXVI starts with a discussion of Star Wars Rebels, digging into episode three “Droids in Distress” and sharing what did and did not work for them. Ending the show, Mike talks about going to New York Comic Con, being inducted into the 501st Legion,  and Ania getting to wear Darth Vader’s helmet. Very cool story. Also, somewhere in there they talk about the fun possibility of an Obi-Wan trilogy. While a remote possibility, it’s an intriguing idea. All in all, great show.
