Today we would like to wish a happy birthday to Star Wars author K.W. Jeter! Kevin Wayne Jeter, better known as K.W. Jeter, is the author of The Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy (The Mandalorian Armor, Slave Ship, and Hard Merchandise). Besides Star Wars, Mr. Jeter has also written three books that carry off the events of the movie Bladerunner and continue the journey of Deckard, as well as two books in the Star Trek universe. Mr. Jeter has also written over a dozen original novels, including a sequel to H.G. Well’s The Time Machine. His novel Dr. Adder was the first cyberpunk novel, and Jeter was the first person to coin the term ‘steampunk.’ A big influence on Jeter’s work was science fiction writer Phillip K. Dick, and it is noticeable in the themes in his books. Currently Mr. Jeter lives in San Francisco with his wife Geri. His last work was the novella Ninja Two-Fifty written in 2006:

“A man has a terrifying experience and loses some of his sanity. He decides to work for an ultimate goal which will be achieved by having a fast motorcycle built for him. What he eventually decides to do makes for fascinating reading.”  –SFRevu

Ninja Two-Fifty is available as an eBook for those interested.
