Happy Birthday, Jo Chen

Today we wish a very happy birthday to comic book artist Jo Chen. Jo was the cover artist for the first eleven issues of the Star Wars Invasion series. Known for her detailed artwork, Jo has been working in the comic industry since she was fourteen. She got her start in the US comic industry with the Racer X mini-series and has moved on to other comics such as Thor, Runaways, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Beyond comics Jo also did the artwork for Microsoft’s popular RPG Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Fable II, and Fable III, as well as several covers for Playstation Magazine.

New Release Today: Invasion Volume 2 – Rescues

The second trade paperback of the Invasion comic series is available in stores today. Rescues collects issues 6-11 and features art by Colin Wilson and Jo Chen (cover artist).
