The last book in the Fate of the Jedi series will be out in March. To celebrate the event, Del Rey will be sending author Troy Denning on a book tour across the country. Check below to see if he’ll be coming to a town near you.

UPDATE: Christie Golden will also be joining the tour, but for only one stop.

The galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunter makes an appearance in the latest Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse excerpt, courtesy of Star Wars Books:

Fett was clearly hunting someone, and Tahiri was beginning to think he didn’t care who knew it. He could have disguised his purpose by buying a few supplies, varying the length of his visits, or emerging with a handful of sales flimsis. Instead he was simply moving from one business to the next as quickly as possible, staying only long enough to bribe or intimidate whoever happened to be behind the counter. It almost seemed as though he wanted his prey to know he was coming.

No Post-Fate of the Jedi Excerpts, But…

Star Wars Books posted an interesting update on their Facebook page:

I can confirm that the excerpts (yes two!) in Apocalypse will be the first chapters from two eagerly anticipated upcoming novels, Aaron Allston’s Star Wars: X-Wing: Mercy Kill and Jeff Grubb’s Star Wars: Scourge. I know that some of you were expecting an excerpt from a post Fate of the Jedi series in Apocalypse. We are working hard on the post FotJ saga, we’re just not quite ready to talk about it yet. The Apocalypse is coming March 13!

So we won’t be seeing anything soon on a new post-Fate of the Jedi series. However, having already read an early ARC for Apocalypse, I can tell you that it is really going to open the door for the future and I can’t wait to see what they do with it.

First Excerpt from Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse

Star Wars Books has posted their first excerpt from Troy Denning’s upcoming novel Apocalypse.

Back when Barab I had still existed, the Jedi had believed that Sith only came in pairs, a Master and a servant. Saba had always found that disappointing, because it had meant that she would probably never have a chance to hunt Sith herself—and even if she did, by the time she became good at it, the prey would be extinct. But now, after the emergence of the Lost Tribe, there would be an almost limitless supply of Sith to stalk—and there were several hundred of them between her and the quarry she had come to claim.

Truly, this was going to be a fine hunt.

FOTJ: Apocalypse comes out March 13th.
