We have a free copy of Fan Phenomena Star Wars to give away! This illustrated softcover book edited by Mika Elovaara and published by Intellect Ltd. covers a wide range of the Star Wars spectrum: from the Mando’a alphabet to Club Jade.

To enter to win, we’re asking fans to send us a picture of their Star Wars collection to illustrate the phenomena of their Star Wars fandom. It can be a picture of your Star Wars library or your array of action figures. If it’s Star Wars, we want to see it. Just send the pictures to roqoodepot(at)gmail.com by August 29th, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win. We will announce the winner on Friday, August 30th, so get those pictures in before time runs out!

Book Spotlight – ‘Fan Phenomena: Star Wars’

While looking over the Star Wars titles on edelweiss, I noticed a book called Fan Phenomena: Star Wars. It looked interesting: a bright orange cover with a Vader silhouette, a publisher I’d never heard of, and the selling point “first ever book addressing the Star Wars saga holistically”. Looking further into the publisher, I noticed that they have a whole series of Fan Phenomena books: Batman, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Twin Peaks. All of them are set to be released in July 2013.

The Star Wars version will be roughly the size of a standard Star Wars hardcover novel, but will be in paperback format and 132 pages in length.
