Possibly The Worst Star Wars Fan Ever

So it seems awhile back the members of the Central Texas 501st Legion helped rebuild a home for a volunteer firefighter who, ironically, lost her home in the largest wildfire in Texas history.  And it was an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  Seems like a pretty worthwhile thing to do, right?  Apparently not.

“I just saw the opening two minutes and they had Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers helping build a new house!” one Star Wars fanboy complained to me. “This is disgusting and it’s exactly what people were afraid of with Disney buying Star Wars. They are ruining the franchise by using it for trivial bullsh*t. Please write about this. It’s outrageous and it’s totally wrong.”

Okay, fanboy, you’ve got your wish.  But, as the Chinese saying goes, be careful what you wish for because you might get it.  Lucky you; you’re now making the rounds of the internet where you will hence forth be known as a The Worst Star Wars Fan Ever.

Correction: make that Dumb Worst Star Wars Fan Ever because this episode was filmed a year before Disney bought Lucasfilm.
