If you’re an Ewok fan, Tales From Vader’s Castle #4 has a great little story. There’s tons of nods to the old Ewok movies, and there’s a really good horror vibe to the story. The art has a neat style for this one, it’s a bit less cartoony than usual, and it helps add to the creepiness of the story. Especially with the coloring. The choice of color palette really adds to the scary vibes. It’s very well done, and definitely fans of Ewoks or the Ewok movies will want to check out.

The framing story starts to kick into high gear as the characters run into Darth Vader. Interestingly enough, Vader starts taking people out. The artwork for the framing story is the same as the previous issues, and also well done. Overall, a great looking comic. Combine that with the solid story, and you get a comic that’s worth picking up whether you’ve been getting the others or not. I give this one a five out of five metal bikinis. Though, I must admit, I am an Ewok fan.
