Tales From Vader’s Castle #3 is a fun little issue perfectly theme for Halloween and featuring a story starring Han Solo and Chewbacca. Han and Chewie find themselves on a cursed planet and have to deal with a devious witch. While fortunes allude them, they make out okay, and it makes for a fun little story. The framing story continues to plunge the characters on Mustafar deeper into the lion’s den. Getting past the Imperial guards, they make their way into Vader’s castle. It leaves off with a cliff hanger and a mysterious red guard.

The artwork throughout the issue has a kiddy cartoon style, but it’s a good style. There’s good likenesses and detail, and great coloring. The panels do a good job of capturing the action and emotion of the scenes. The cover art is pretty good too with the creepy owl which is in the story.

Overall, I give this one a four out of five baby nexus.
