Star Wars Adventures #20 begins with “Hide and Seek” by Cavan Scott. This story features Anakin and Yoda on the planet Retta in search of a secret. The secret turns out to be an alien Yoda knows, which has the ability to turn invisible, sort of. They fight some Separatist battle droids and the Jedi save the day. Nothing too unexpected, but a fun little story. The art is bright and cartoony.

The second story is “The Journey” which is another Tales From Wild Space story, this one by George Mann. The main story focuses on Padawan Bariss Offee who is sent on a mission by her master as she travels past the traps of an ancient temple. She succeeds in getting past all the traps, but thinks she failed and returns to her master. However, her master informs her that she was successful and that is was not expected that she return any treasure, only that she succeed in finding it. The story ends a little quick and I found myself wanting more Bariss, but the artwork is really nice in this story.

Overall, not too bad. Neither story is all that earth shattering, but they’re fun reads. I give Star Wars Adventures #20 a three out of five baby nexus.
