Rose & Paige tells a fun little adventure story that feels very much like a Disney movie. Part of that is due to the artwork. It’s bright, it’s colorful, and it matches the upbeat story. With a nice little lesson about not being afraid to try and never giving up, it’s a good story for kids and one adults can enjoy, too.

The story takes place on D’Qar and focuses on Rose and Paige. Surrounded by dense jungle, the Resistance needs an alternative mode of transportation to explore the surrounded area for resources. Rose comes up with an idea and builds a little dune buggy. Her and Rose go off to test them out and find all kinds of things that the Resistance can use. They also run into some trouble, but of course they get out of it.

The artwork for the comic is a very interesting style that feels like a Disney animated movie. The characters are all stylized, but it’s very enjoyable art style. It really works well with the story. All of the panels do a good job of portraying the characters, emotion, and the scenery and action.

With fun artwork and a nice story, Rose & Paige is a good mix for a kid’s comic, and it’s just enough to provide some enjoyment for adults as well. I give it a four out of five nexus.
