Movie Review: ‘Birds of Prey’

To put it simply, Birds of Prey was a hot mess. The only good thing about the movie was Harley Quinn. It’s a shame because Margot Robbie is great as Quinn, but it appears DC can’t figure out how to make a good movie around her.

If you are a huge Harley Quinn fan, it’s still worth seeing because, let’s face it, you take what you can get. But there’s some cringe worthy moments in this film. A prime example is the big moment when Black Canary uses her special power and Harley skates out in front, propelled by her voice. It looked bad and it played out poorly. It just…felt…horrible. Some of the dialog was also cringe worthy. And most of the characters were poorly done and underdeveloped. So much time was spent on Harley that most of the other characters suffered.
