‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Spoiler Free Review

I liked it. Seriously, I can think of no better way to summarize it than that. Somehow I managed to stay spoiler free, kept my expectations low by cutting myself off from all the extra trailers and TV spots, went in, and enjoyed it. It was great. Was it the best Star Wars movie ever? No. But it wasn’t the worst, either. It took a little while to settle in, but once I was in, I was having fun. There’s that odd feeling of reading a brand new crawl for the first time. There’s the opening shot — an iconic moment for any Star Wars film — and the story starts.
