• A second and third excerpt have been released for Black Spire which will be out August 27th.

• D23 is August 23 to 25 in Anaheim, CA.
• New York Comic Con is October 3 to 6 in New York, NY. Star Wars guests include James Arnold Taylor, Mark Brooks, Ken Lashley, Charles Soule, and Billy Dee Williams.
• Authors Kevin Hearne and Chuck Wendig will be in Doylestown, PA on October 7th at 7:00 PM for a book signing at Doylestown Bookshop.
• Author Kevin Hearne will be in Richmond, VA on October 8th at 6:00 PM for a book signing at Fountain Books.
• Author Kevin Hearne will be in Charlotte, NC on October 9th at 7:00 PM for a book signing at Park Road Books.
• Author Kevin Hearne will be in Orlando, FL on October 10th at 7:00 PM for a book signing at Barnes & Noble (Colonial Drive).
• Disney’s Star Wars Day at Sea will be returning in 2020.

Fandom News

• StarWars.com has a little write up on Galaxy’s Edge talking about the characters and locations.
• WDW News Today has some info on the pricing for the Star Wars hotel. It’s expensive.
• Chapter 2 for Star Wars Rollout. Interestingly enough, the episodes are connected. Not sure if they’ll all be like that or not.

Movie & Television News

• Star Wars Resistance Season One is now available on DVD.
• The Hollywood Reporter has a interview with Jon Favreau going over some stuff for The Mandalorian.
• Now for some movie trailers. First up, Villains which will be out September 20th.

• Motherless Brooklyn will be out November 1st. Kind of low key but maybe worth a watch when it hits streaming.

• Now this one could be funny. The Day Shall Come will be out September 27th.

• If you like horror, there’s Antlers which will be out next year.

• Then there’s Underwater which will be out January 10, 2020.

Toy & Collectible News

• If you missed out on some of the promotional posters at Star Wars Celebration, Trends International is offering them up as posters. You can get The Rise of Skywalker, Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, Vader Immortal, and Jedi: Fallen Order. They even have some for the mural art (click through the options to see the different segments).
• Hot Toys has images up for the ROTJ Leia, Wicket and the set.

Video Game News

• EA revealed Republic Commandos will be coming to Star Wars Battlefront.
