Max Reebo’s pick this week is “I’m a Man” by Black Strobe.

Muddy Waters sang it first, but Black Strobe gave it a new life. “I’m a Man” has a great beat, great vocals, and catchy lyrics that just plain work.

Black Strobe is a French band who has focused on electronic music. They’ve been around since 1997, but they didn’t put their first album out until 2007. Burn Your Own Church included the hit “I’m a Man” which was featured in Guy Ritchie’s film RocknRolla. While they don’t have much to choose from, as a music hunter, you only need one good song to make the cut.
