Afterwards Dan talks with Clayton Sandell about Peter Mayhew. There were some audio issues with Clayton, but good episode overall. Nice look back at Peter and the work he did.

They wrap up with listener questions. Great discussion of the The Phantom Menace. Great episode.

Grand Moff Talkin’: Episode 97 is another edition of Fan Fiction Theater as they go over two comedic Star Wars fanfics, “The Good, The Bad, and the Funny” and “Naboo Who?” Complete with dramtic readings and music, the only problem with this one is that both stories were pretty bad (they went in blind so they didn’t know how bad they’d be).

Afterwards they talk about their experience at Star Wars Celebration Chicago, they discuss The Rise of Skywalker teaser trailer and the return of Palpatine, and they focus in on Leia and the medal she’s holding. Good episode.

Skywalking Through Neverland: Episode 248 they talk with guest Jeff Long who went to Galaxy’s Edge. He talks about his experience, some of the things he saw and was able to do like the Millennium Falcon ride, the app, the shops, and more. Jeff does go out of his way to not spoil anything, so some of the things he talks about is not in great detail and is a vague in order to maintain the surprise of the experience for listeners. Keep that in mind. Jeff’s audio is good (not the greatest) but it shouldn’t hurt your ability to listen to the episode at all. Not a bad episode, but if you’re looking for an in-depth, detailed recap of what the Galaxy’s Edge experience was like, this is not it. If you just want to get an idea of what it was like without spoiling anything, then this one may be the one you’re looking for.
