Blast Points Podcast: Episode 112 covers some news, touching on some of the details for the upcoming Blu-ray release of The Last Jedi, and J.J. Abrams’ appearance on Colbert. Afterwards, they get to their main topic – Marcia Lucas. They cover how she got started in editing, how she met George Lucas, how they got married, her work on THX1138, American Graffiti, Star Wars, the things she was responsible for, their adoption of Amanda, and their separation. They talk about how important she was in regards to Star Wars, how she may have been the secret ingredient for the original trilogy, and how her absence may have affected the prequels. Plus there’s a couple audio clips. Great stuff. Definitely one you’ll want to listen to.

They also discussion Star Wars Rebels, and fair warning, they kick it off with the big spoilers and no warning, so listen at your own risk if you’ve somehow avoided spoilers and haven’t seen “Jedi Night” yet. Fun episode.
