Beltway Banthas: Episode 46 touches on Swara’s trip to Japan, then they dive into The Last Jedi as they share their thoughts on the film. They talk about the Force connection between Kylo and Rey, Stephen’s thoughts on Daisy Ridley overacting, their issues with Holdo not telling Poe her plan, why the Resistance is all the sudden a Rebellion again, and whether that might have been a real world political move. They talk about being surprised that Leia didn’t die, and much more. Lots of great discussion touching on some really nice points. Definitely worth a listen. One of the things that makes Beltway Banthas unique is their focus on politics in and out of universe for Star Wars, and with The Last Jedi, there’s plenty to touch on. It’s a great place for intelligent, in-depth Star Wars discussions.

The BondCast is hosted by Jason and Jimmy Mac from Rebel Force Radio, and Jonathan Wilkins, former editor of Star Wars Insider, who is also a Brit which adds a nice touch to the discussion. I’ve known about the Bondcast for a while, but to be honest, I never watched any of the old Bond films…until recently, which then had me jonsing for some Bond discussion. The BondCast was just the thing I was looking for. With all the great production and audio quality of the Rebel Force Radio main show, the BondCast focuses each episode on one of the Bond films as they dive into the interesting elements of the film, lots of fun trivia, and comparisons between the film and the books.
