• StarWars.com has an exclusive excerpt from Star Wars: Canto Bight which will be out December 5th.
• Random House is offering a free Canto Bight pin for those who pre-order the book. Just follow the following link for details.
• And there’s an update on the upcoming DK book Star Wars Encyclopedia of Starfighters and Other Vehicles. We now know the author – Landry Q. Walker. The release date is still set for April 3, 2018. Here’s the new description for the book via edelweiss.

StarWars.com has released new details on Disney’s upcoming Galactic Nights event which is December 16th. Warwick Davis will be hosting the event and it will include a panel on Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge moderated by David Collins.

• TusCon is November 10 to 12 in Tucson, AZ. Star Wars guests include Timothy Zahn.
• OryCon is November 17 to 19 in Portland, OR. Star Wars guests include Timothy Zahn.

• Variety is reporting that Disney is indeed working on a live action Star Wars television series which will air on Disney’s new streaming service with an expected launch in 2019.
