Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Blast Points: Episode 96 starts with the Solo news, The Last Jedi news, a little Star Wars Rebels with a hot take on “Heroes of Mandalore” being the dullest season premier of Star Wars Rebels yet, which I can’t disagree with. Then they hit their main topic which is Mandalore. From the first mentions of Mandalorians, to George Lucas and Dave Filoni recreating them for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, to their appearances in Star Wars Rebels. They trace the progression of the Mandalorians and Mandalore, focusing on canon rather than legends.

Bombad Radio: Episode 291 starts with an interview with Star Wars author Ian Doescher. Kaela talks with Ian about Shakespeare, Star Wars, and his other work. It’s a nice little interview. At 25 minutes in, the interview ends and Jeremiah joins Kaela as they talk Star Wars news, Marvel news, and more which rounds the episode out.

Brews and Blasters: Episode 140 is their shot-by-shot breakdown of The Last Jedi trailer. Fun discussion as always. I really liked the idea of Kylo boarding Leia’s ship for a face-to-face confrontation. Definitely worth checking out.
