Here is this week’s Around the Web news roundup of Star Wars and beyond.

Book News

  • Barnes & Noble will be getting a special edition of Inferno Squad which will include a two sided poster.

  • Pre-orders are up for The Murderbot Diaries: Artificial Condition by Martha Wells. Martha has a nice roundup of all the pre-order links on her sight.

Comic News

Fandom News

  • The 501st Legion has made it to space via the Russian Outpost and astronaut Andrei Borisenko.
  • The Star Wars Show has posted their extended interview with Eugene Byrd (The Freemaker Adventures).

  • And their extended interview with Timothy Zahn.

  • And here’s the latest episode of The Star Wars Show. Janina Gavankar drops that she’ll be narrating the audiobook version of Inferno Squad.

  • 501st fans, here’s your chance to get some 501st apparel but hurry because it’s only available for a limited time. Deadline is June 24th.

Movie & Television News

  • Interesting look at the film crew shirt for those working on the Han Solo movie. Note the logo simply calls it “Solo.”
  • How about some movie trailers featuring Star Wars actors? First up, John Boyega in Detroit.

  • Domhnall Gleeson in Goodbye Christopher Robin.

  • And a little bit of Mark Hamill in the very strange Brigsby Bear.

  • The first trailer for Black Panther is out. The film will be out in February.

  • While a lot of trailers have come out in the last week or so, many of them featuring Star Wars actors including even Mark Hamill, the trailer that caught my interest was for a prison movie. Not everyone’s thing, and typically not mine, but this one looks interesting. It’s called Shot Caller and doesn’t have a release date yet.

Toy & Collectible News

Video Game News

  • In case you haven’t watched it yet, here’s the new gameplay trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2.
