Blast Points: Episode 74 is pure fun. They celebrate the 31st anniversary of “The Great Heap” Droids tv movie. They start off with some trivia on the show, then dive in with a full length commentary on “The Great Heap.” You can hear the audio of the show in the background which makes it easy to follow along. With Jason and Gabe’s commentary, it’s just plain fun. Great episode.
Bombad Radio: Episode 278 features a cool conversation with author J.W. Rinzler as they talk to him about his new book All Up: Odyssey of the Rocketmen. They talk about the men behind the rockets, what the research for this project was like, and even some aliens discussion. Great interview to check out.
Brews and Blasters: Episode 120 features Joe and Chris as they talk Disney hackers, winter hat guy, food, Dolph Lundgren, Snoke, books and Unknown Regions, and more. Fun episode.
Children of the Force: Episode 70 covers the Aphra action figure news, BB-8 being changed to R2 at the end of The Force Awakens, more Celebration audio from Emily and Amy, they also discuss Freemakers, Forces of Destiny and upcoming books. Good episode.
Coffee With Kenobi: Episode 68 is hosted by Dan and features guest hosts Chris Pirillo and Dennis Keithly as they discuss the symbolism of moving rocks, they talk toys, Jason pops in to talk books, they talk about consuming media, George Lucas turning 73, Star Wars and Shakespeare and more.
Databank Brawl: Episode 51 has Moff Jerjerrod facing off against the dianoga as they battle on the Death Star II.
Fly Casual: Episode 137 has a length episode as they joke around, then they get into news, the Mace Windu comic, Ian McCaig on the original ending for Revenge of the Sith, Felicity Jones getting engaged, the passing of Jira, toy news, ornaments, and lots of mom jokes. Fun episode.
Geek Out Loud: Episode 210 features Steve and Erich as they talk Star Wars and other stuff, then get into Pass the Corn. They talk about Fate of the Furious, Cars 3, King Arthur, Snatched, Alien: Covenant, Pirates, movie anniversaries, Smokey and the Bandit, and they discuss Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which they both saw (includes spoilers). Good episode.
Radio 1138: Episode 62 is solo hosted by Mark with audio clips from recent cons. There’s conversations with Richard Oldfield, Brian Wheeler, Jim Dowdall, Toby Philpott and Hugh Spight. Good episode.
Rebel Force Radio: Episode 5.12.2017 features guest Melody Deel as they talk about the RFR bash, con crud, the Rebel Legion, Star Wars Celebration panel discussions, Vader’s castle, the Heroine’s panel, Ahsoka, new Filoni series and more.
Skywalking Through Neverland: Episode 169 covers the Tinkerbell marathon, features a new Ask Tink segment, a discussion with Drew Kaplan and Nitzan Harel as they talk about the Clone Wars micro-series, and they have a discussion with Matthew Pak who talks about how he won a contest back in the day to visit The Empire Strikes Back set in England and what that experience was like as well as who he met. Pretty awesome episode. You’ll definitely want to hear the stories Matthew has to share.
Star Scavengers: Episode 17 covers the new Freemakers shorts for May 4th, and they also talk LEGO sets and Star Wars Day. Fun episode.
Star Wars 7×7: Episode 1045 tries to zero in on Rey’s parentage by taking a look at the timeline of events.
Star Wars 7×7: Episode 1053 covers Star Wars news sources which is an interesting one if you’re looking for ideas on which websites to follow.
Star Wars Influences: Episode 23 features Jimmy and Paul as they talk about the leaked Han Solo pictures, Star Trek: Discovery, The Last Jedi Japanese pamphlet stating the moving will have a shocking discovery, which in turn leads them into a discussion of clones.
Star Wars Report: Episode 282 is hosted by Bruce and features guests Steve Glosson and Michael Morris as they talk Drew Struzan, May 25th vs May 4th, Star Wars, Steve hates on Trek, they talk Attack of the Clones, first seeing Star Wars, comic news, movies that inspired Rogue One, fight over The Force Awakens shuttle, thoughts on new books and rumor. Fun episode.
Starships Sabers and Scoundrels: Episode 29 covers the news, Attack of the Clones, and they dive into Thrawn. Plus there’s a fun gag involving Thrawn and Palpatine. Fun episode.
Talk Star Wars: Episode 70 kicks off with a funny iTunes review, they talk about the importance of Bespin, favorite locations, what you would like more of and less of, they talk about the prequels, Ian McDiarmid recording dialog, Ahsoka film possibility, Kylo as a baby name, The Last Jedi controversial marketing tagline, and some Han Solo stuff. Good episode.
TechnoRetro Dads: Episode 5.22.2017 is Star Wars themed as they cover the 40th anniversary of A New Hope. They tell jokes, talk about their anticipation for May 25th and their plans, they cover some news, including Dark Crystal news, and then they dig into seeing Star Wars in 1977, getting the toys, the cereal, the cartoons, the books, and so on. Good episode.
The 602 Club: Episode 30 features Matt and Aaron Goins as they talk about Star Wars, LEGO and the Freemakers. Good episode.
The Deucecast Movie Show: Episode 277 runs down all the movies they’ve recently watched and features a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 discussion which does get into spoilers and they give plenty of warning. Good episode.
The Geek Directive: Batman and Bill Finger starts with a discussion of how their Star Wars days went, the cover the issue of a student who got in trouble for dressing as a Stormtrooper on May 4th at high school, Adam Scott’s appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, action figures of themselves, should Snape have died or lived in Harry Potter, how bad the Inhumans costumes are, would you rather Batman game, and they have on guest Andy DiGenova as they talk about the documentary Batman and Bill. Good episode.
The Imperial Senate Podcast: Episode 7 is hosted by Charlie and Nicky and features special guest Swara from Beltway Banthas. They talk Star Wars, politics, the prequels, Attack of the Clones, Mace Windu, the Unknown Regions and Empires End, and Kylo Ren, getting into whether or not he should have a redemption story. This was my first time listening to this podcast and it was pretty good. They’ve got good audio quality, the hosts keep a good conversation going, and it’s very discussion focused even when they’re covering news.
The Nerd Room: Episode 72 covers Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. They talk earnings, how this one made the first movie better, the small ties to Ragnarok, the timeline, the music, a breakdown of characters and plot points and the inclusion of the original guardians. It’s a very thorough discussion with lots of spoilers, so skip this one if you haven’t seen the movie yet.
TSW Kessel Run: Episode 5.18.2017 covers The Last Jedi tagline with the shocking discovery bit and some speculation on that.
TSW Kessel Run: Episode 5.19.2017 talks about Luke’s possessions in The Last Jedi, characters and a holocron.
TSW Kessel Run: Episode 5.20.201 covers the Han Solo pictures and speculation.
TSW Kessel Run: Episode 5.21.2017 has some rough audio as Marc talks about the possibilities of putting live action versions of animated characters in the films.
TSW Kessel Run: Episode 5.22.2017 covers the Diego Luna rumor for the Han Solo movie, as well as Han Solo speculation. Audio is a bit rough as Marc is testing out some new things.
TSW Kessel Run: Episode 5.23.2017 has more on the Han Solo pics, Marc talks about Star Wars Influences and their discussion on The Last Jedi and Obi-Wan clones, which leads to the potential of a CGI Alec Guinness Obi-Wan Force ghost.
