When I first saw the trailer for The Nice Guys back in December, I knew this was a movie I wanted to see, and it did not disappoint. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling play a couple quirky characters in 1977 Los Angeles. They find themselves in search of a girl named Amelia which leads them into a ton of trouble. Director and writer Shane Black balances the colorful characters with a storyline punctuated with action and humor. But it’s the characters and the dialog that really sells the movie.
