  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens is coming to Blu-ray on April 5 and is getting a digital HD release on April 1st. has a nice rundown on the special features.

/Film has some info on Rogue One which had some clips shown at a Disney shareholder meeting. According to Bob Iger…

It’s our first original standalone Star Wars story. It’s about a band of rebels who are plotting to steal the plans for the Death Star. The action takes place right before the events in the very first Star Wars movie, Episode IV, which was called A New Hope. And I can’t wait for you to see it, it’s in theaters this December.

You can follow the link to find out /Film’s recap of the clips that were shown. Nothing too spoilery if you want to check it out.

  • The latest episode of Rebels Recon is out for Star Wars Rebels “Shroud of Darkness” along with the episode guide.
  • The trailer for the Ghostbusters reboot is out. The movie will hit theaters in July.
  • There’s also a making of featurette out for it.
  • It’s official, they’re making Stephen King’s Dark Tower into a movie and it’ll star Idris Elba (the Gunslinger) and Matthew McConaughey (the man in black). Having read the series, I think the casting will work well.
