Movie & Television News
- If you’re clamoring for an Obi-Wan western movie, this may be the closest you get to it. Jane Got a Gun stars Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Joel Edgerton, who were all in the Star Wars prequels. And damn if this trailer doesn’t look wickedly awesome. It’ll be out February 2016. After seeing Edgerton’s impressive performance in Black Mass, I’m really excited for this one.
- Overshadowed by everything Star Wars, War for the Planet of the Apes has begun its first day of shooting. We’ll have to wait for July 2017 to see it.
Toy & Collectible News
- AMC Theaters will be doing a special promotion from December 20 to January 10 for The Force Awakens. Anyone who purchases an IMAX 3D ticket for the movie will get an exclusive print by Dan Mumford and, from the sounds of it, they’ll be doing a different one each week. - According to Sandtroopers.com, the Target exclusive First Order Stormtrooper/Poe Dameron two packs are hitting stores.
- Hole in the Ground Productions is now making wall dioramas for your 3-3/4-inch figures (it’s near the bottom of the page).
