Amidst the half dozen new Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens novels is Greg Rucka’s Smuggler’s Run. Compared to Aftermath, or Lost Stars for that matter, it’s a slim book at just 183 pages. It’s also being marketed at 8 to 12 year olds. But don’t let the age range or the page count fool you, this is a book worth checking out. Greg Rucka writes this story in a voice that’s on par with any adult Star Wars novel, and while it’s a quick read, it’s fun. Click here to read our full review.

It’s amazing, but so far it has been the YA novels that have been the clear stand-outs with spot on character work and just great SW’s stories that truly add to canon.
