Here is this week’s Podcasts in Review.

Hyperspace Theories: Disney Influences, Shifting Scripts and the Star Wars Everyman episode focuses on Star Wars and Disney. They have with them guest Ryan Hurley who helps dive into the topic. There’s even a surprise discussion of Ninja Turtles.

Jedi Journals: September 2015 show has its work cut out for them as they tackle the torrent of new books in the Star Wars realm as well as magazines and comics. No spoilers and lots of info, good for those who need to catch up on the lit side of things.

Radio 1138: Episode 31 starts off with some pre-Force Friday discussion that’s surprising vague. James and Mark don’t go into too much detail on what’s coming out, and I can’t help but feel James’ position kinda compromises their ability to talk about Star Wars merchandise since he actually knows some of the stuff that will be released. That aside, they have some interviews with Shane Turgeon, who is behind the Force in the Flesh books; Mark Mulcaster, member of the Rebel Legion; and the one and only Dennis Muren. They also cover The Force Awakens Instagram trailer. While the episode started out a little slow, it’s hard to pass up an interview with Muren, so you’ll probably want to give this one a listen.
