- Star Wars Reads Day has been officially announced for October 10 this year. They’re also replacing the Yoda logo with BB-8.
- Martha Wells’ Stories of the Raksura Vol. 1 is just $1.99 right now on Kindle and Nook. If you’re looking for something to read, it’s a good way to dive into the Three Worlds universe.
- Pre-orders are up for Halo: Last Light by Troy Denning.

- Comic Book Resources has a four page preview of Kanan – The Last Padawan #3.
- And they have a six page preview of Star Wars #6.

- Vanity Fair has yet another interview, this time with Pablo Hidalgo.
Movie & Television News
- StarWars.com has an interview with Annie Leibovitz, the photographer behind the Vanity Fair shoot, which reveals Andy Serkis‘ character with a picture of him in his mo-cap as well as his character’s name.
- Gary Whitta revealed on Twitter that he’s writing an episode of Star Wars Rebels.
- As for new movie trailers, I’m not sure about this one. Cop Car looks like it could be interesting. It also marks a return to the big screen for Kevin Bacon this August.
- Also intriguing is the trailer for Pawn Sacrifice which will be out September 18th.
Toy & Collectible News
- If you have deep pockets, there is a 6″ The Force Awakens Stormtrooper action figure on eBay. Note this is an early grab for the upcoming Hasbro Black Series figure, so you can at least get your first look at the figure.
- And speaking of Stormtroopers, pre-orders are now up for the ANOVOS Classic Trilogy Stormtrooper helmet.
- Big Bad Toy Store has pre-orders up for the Play Arts Kai Darth Maul. You can get a better look at him here.
Video Game News
- FamilyGamerTV has a nice video showing off some of the Star Wars Disney Infinity 3.0 figures and gameplay.
