  • The kickstarter for Athena’s Daughters 2 is up and running. Authors in this anthology include Tiffani Angus, Antha Ann Adkins, Sarah Brand, Elizabeth Bridges, Megan Chee, Liz Colter, Janice Croom, Ellen Goodlett, Emily Lavin Leverett, Alison J. McKenzie, Megan O’Russell, Tish Pahl, Carrie Ryan, Rori Shay, and Tess Tabak with a line-up of additional authors as part of their stretch goals.

Comic News

  • Based on Barnes & Nobles upcoming titles, Marvel will be re-releasing Star Wars comics in digital formats this January (via Jedi News).
  • StarWars.com has a preview of some of the interior art for Princess Leia #1.
  • And while Dave Dorman might not be heading to Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, he’s still canon, this time adding his talents to the array of Marvel Star Wars #1 cover variants. M&M Comics is even running a 50% off sale for pre-orders.

  • Today is the 5th annual Wear Star Wars, Share Star Wars Day!

Movie & Television News

  • Entertainment Weekly posted a neat article that’s basically 10 questions answered by Andy Serkis for The Force Awakens. For instance, he reveals his voice over for the trailer was unaltered. Pretty cool and worth checking out. Nothing too spoilery but is does answer some questions raised by the trailer.
  • The trailer for Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper looks pretty good. It’s set to hit theaters on Christmas Day with a wide release on January 16th.
