Here is this week’s Around the Web news roundup of Star Wars and beyond.

Book News

Alan Tomkins has written a memoir that will be out in August next year. It’s entitled Star and Wars: The Film Memoirs and Photographs of Alan Tomkins. Alan was the art director on The Empire Strikes Back. His memoir looks like Star Wars will be heavily featured, judging by the cover at least. It’s already up on Amazon if you’d like to pre-order.
Heir to the Jedi and Lords of the Sith have both been pushed back a little.

Just a heads up everyone; the publishing dates for our next two STAR WARS novels have moved a few weeks due to scheduling decisions.

STAR WARS: HEIR TO THE JEDI by Kevin Hearne – will now publish 3/3/2015
STAR WARS: LORDS OF THE SITH by Paul S. Kemp – will now publish 4/28/2015

Amazon has an interesting book up on their site called Star Wars: Ships of the Fleet. The hardcover has a June 2015 release, is being published by Reader’s Digest, is aimed at readers ages 6 to 9, and will include a brand new ship from Star Wars Episode VII.
And in case you missed it there were three new Star Wars books out this week – William Shakespeare’s Star Wars Trilogy: The Royal Imperial Boxed Set, Razor’s Edge paperback edition, and Star Wars Costumes: The Original Trilogy.

Jedi News has a preview of the inside of Marvel’s Star Wars #1.

There’s been some details revealed about the next Terminator movie, and yes, Arnold is back. Terminator: Genisys will be directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) and will be out July 2015. Oh, and Matt Smith (Doctor Who) and Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) is in it.
Star Wars actors Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson have teamed up for a creepy looky AI movie called Ex Machina which will be out in April 2015 giving fans plenty of time to see what they’re capable of. Check out the trailer.
