  • Audiobook fans can look forward to an audiobook version of John Jackson Miller’s A New Dawn which will be out the same day as the book, September 2nd.

Comic News

  • Star Wars comic fans may want to check out the rare Chinese Star Wars comic adaptation that’s been scanned and posted online. You can follow the following link which includes translations of the Chinese text.

Convention & Event News

  • FedCon 23 is May 29 to June 1 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Star Wars guests include Olivia d’Abo, Nalini Krishan and Bai Ling.
  • Indy Pop Con is May 30 to June 1 in Indianapolis, IN. Star Wars guests include John DiMaggio, Joe Corroney and Dave Dorman.
  • Star Wars Weekends May 30 to June 1 will feature Star Wars guests Taylor Gray, Ray Park, John Ratzenberger and James Arnold Taylor at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
  • Atlanta Comic Con is May 30 to June 1 in Atlanta, GA. Star Wars guests include James Marsters and Brian Muir.
  • Jason Fry‘s DK Book Tour will be in Maplewood, NJ on May 31 for a book signing at Maplewood Memorial Library at 2:00 PM.
  • The Millennium View Con is May 31 to June 1 in Liverpool, England. Star Wars guests include Kenny Baker, Paul Blake, John Chapman, Laurie Goode, Garrick Hagon, Katie Purvis, Peter Roy and Brian Wheeler.
  • Jason Fry‘s DK Book Tour will be in Huntington, NY on June 1 for a book signing at Book Revue at noon.
  • Origins is June 12-15 in Columbus, OH. Star Wars author Timothy Zahn will be in attendance.
  • James S.A. Corey will be doing a book tour along the West coast for Cibola Burn. You can check out their tour dates here on Facebook.
  • Special Edition New York City is June 14-15 and will include Star Wars guests Corinna Bechko, Gabriel Hardman, Howard Chaykin, Mahmud Asrar and Brian Wood.
  • For those planning way ahead of time, runDisney is holding a Star Wars Half Marathon which will be January 15 to 18, 2015.

  • It’s official, Star Wars and Hot Wheels our collaborating for a new range of toys which will be revealed in Star Wars Insider #150.
  • Yodanews broke the news of the upcoming Toys ‘R’ Us Endor figure pack. Rebelscum is also reporting a Cantina Showdown and Jabba’s Rancor Pit set.
