Free Comic Book Day

Today is Free Comic Book Day so be sure to head to your local comic book shops and pick up some free comics. You can check out the official site to find participating stores. If you’re like me and don’t have any stores near by, you can always just punch up google maps and search for your nearest comic shop locations. Nearly all of them will be participating. And if that fails, you can always check out online retailers like Things From Another World who are including free comics in all their orders today plus offering lots of discounts.

While there aren’t any free Star War comics from Dark Horse this year, there is a steampunk Star Wars comic called Steam Wars. It’s not an officially license comic, but it is very Star Warsy in it’s themes and content.
