Dark Horse Comics has provided a preview of Star Wars: Rebel Heist #1. Written by Matt Kindt, with art by Marco Castiello (penciller), Dan Parsons (inker) and Gabe Eltaeb (colorist), issue #1 will hit comic stands on April 30th. Collectors will also want to keep an eye out for the Adam Hughes variant cover and ultra variant cover.

This week the Roqoo Depot Galleria presents the Star Wars art of David Vancook.
David Vancook is an artist who has been doing something very interesting: he’s been taking thrift store paintings and modifying them by adding a touch of Star Wars. His selection of paintings varies greatly in both artistic styles and themes. In turn, the Star Wars characteristics of each painting are just as varied. There are AT-AT walkers looming over landscapes, starfighters flying over oceans, and iconic bounty hunters set in floral landscapes.

Monday Funny: Darth Winnie the Pooh

At ConnectiCon 2013, voice actor Jim Cummings (who voices Hondo Ohnaka in Star Wars: The Clone Wars) did a hilarious skit reading the classic lines from Star Wars: A New Hope. The twist is that he does the voice of Darth Vader as Winnie the Pooh. It’s great.
