Here at Roqoo Depot, we are counting down the days to the release of Ewoks: Shadows of Endor. Written and drawn by Zack Giallongo with colors by Braden Lamb, this trade paperback comic leads directly in the events of Return of the Jedi and ties into the Ewoks television movies and series. To help get readers in the mood, we’ll be doing an Ewok of the day each day until the comic’s release. Today we’re highlighting Weechee.
Weechee is the eldest of the Warrick brothers. Son to Deej and Shodu, Weechee has three siblings: Widdle, Wicket, and Winda. He is known as one of the best warriors in the Bright Tree Village, often put in charge of expeditions. He also has a girlfriend, Chirita.
Weechee first appeared in Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure (1984) then in Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (1986). He was also a recurring character in the Ewoks television show and was in the children’s book Wicket Goes Fishing: An Ewok Adventure.
Ewoks: Shadows of Endor will be out on October 9, 2013.
