Today The Making of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi hits stores. If you haven’t ordered a copy already, this is definitely one book worth checking out. J.W. Rinzler dives into all of the aspects that went into making the film. There are snippets from the various drafts of the script, including the bits that feature Palpatine in his volcanic lair on Had Abaddon. There’s behind the scenes details on things like the selection of the director and how Richard Marquand was not George Lucas’ first choice. Plus there are tons of pictures, from photos onset to awesome concept art. Click here to read our full review.
