Here’s this weeks Around the Web gathering up book, movie, con news and more.

  • Editor Jennifer Heddle revealed the title for the sequel to William Shakespeare’s Star Wars by Ian Doescher–William Shakespeare’s The Empire Striketh Back.

Speaking of Quirk — am currently reading the manuscript for WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S THE EMPIRE STRIKETH BACK and loving it.

  • SF Signal has a piece asking different authors what authors influenced them when they were young. Among the authors is Martha Wells. You can check it out here.

  • Granite State Comic Con runs this weekend in Manchester, NH. Star Wars voice actors Jim Cummings (Hondo Ohnaka) and Grey DeLisle will be there.

  • Prescott Harvey and Sincerely, Truman made a really cool video expressing four key elements of Star Wars in an open letter to J.J. Abrams. Their  four rules? The location is on the frontier, it’s dirty, mysterious, and not cute. Whether you agree or not, it has some really nice animation. You can also check out io9 who has more info on the story behind Harvey and the video.
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5 has a new trailer out.
