Star Wars author Michael Reaves has a kickstarter for a project called Blood Kiss. The project has already met it’s $50,000 goal but there’s still time to get in and send a pledge. The Blood Kiss project includes both a film and a graphic novel. Neil Gaiman, Amber Benson and Tom Mandrake are involved and you can check all the info here.

And speaking of kickstarters, there’s one for Time Traveled Tales: A Speculative Fiction Anthology which will include stories by Aaron Allston, Michael A. Stackpole, Timothy Zahn, Maxwell Alexander Drake, Janine K. Spendlove, Bryan Young, C.S. Marks, Donald J. Bingle, Kelly Swails, Jean Rabe, Jennifer Brozek, Daniel Myers, Tracy Chowdhury, Gregory A. Wilson, Dylan Birtolo, R.T. Kaelin, Steven Saus, Sarah Hans, and Bradley P. Beaulieu. Click here to check out all the details.

Over on Fantasy Faction, they have an interview with author Matthew Stover covering his Acts of Caine series and ending with a vague hint of what we’ll see next from him.

Comic writer and artist Gabriel Hardman did an interview with CBR covering some general questions about how he got into the business, his favorite comics and even what his work area is like. The interview skips over Star Wars but it still provides some nice insight.

If you live near Roseville, MN you might want to check out the Barnes & Noble on 2100 North Snelling Ave on July 9th. Troy Denning is planning a book signing and discussion for his latest Star Wars novel, Crucible, at 7:00 PM so be sure to mark your calendars. If you’re on the west coast, you can still catch Troy at San Diego Comic Con.

Star Wars author Ryder Windham is promoting a Star Wars Party & Blood Drive at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Attleboro, RI on June 22nd. Ryder will be there and will be giving out some prizes including free copies of DK Books Star Wars: Galactic Crisis, free Star Wars action figures from Hasbro, free Angry Birds toys, stickers and more. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and help out a good cause.

In some interesting video game news, Craveonline reports that there may be a possibility of Star Wars in the next Kingdom of Hearts game.
