Any Star Wars fan who goes to see Star Trek Into Darkness will immediately banish any fears they might have had over the announcement that JJ Abrams will be directing Episode VII. This Star Trek sequel, the 12th in the series and 2nd helmed by Abrams, is both flashy and bold, with the stakes raised and the heroes being kicked around a little more than usual.

Caine Needs Your Help

The Acts of Caine will be released in a couple of weeks, and author Matthew Stover has a request to make of his fans.
Okay, here we go.
The Acts of Caine will be released to the entire English-speaking world in a couple of weeks. Now I’m going to ask a favor of you. Of all of you.
Post reader reviews. At Amazon.com, Amason.co.uk (when they’ll let you), and at B&N, Powell’s and every bookselling site you can access. If you’re reading this, I’m guessing that your review will be four or five stars (though I’m okay with honesty; if you think they’re worth less, post a shitty review. I forgive you in advance. So does Caine). What I want is numbers. What Caine needs is numbers.
Around 600 people like this page, but HEROES DIE has only 69 reviews on Amazon.com. Does that make sense to you? I have almost 500 friends on Facebook, but only 115 of them have liked this page. Does that make sense to you? It doesn’t really make sense to me. Continue Reading Caine Needs Your Help…
Our Interview with Cover Artist Livio Ramondelli
May 16, 2013 at 8:30 am | Posted in Comic Books, Dark Horse, Interview, Star Wars | Leave a commentTags: legacy, livio ramondelli, transformers
Dark Horse Comics recently revealed that artist Livio Ramondelli we’ll be diving into the Legacy series to tackle the covers for Legacy #6 and Legacy #7. Below you’ll find our interview with Livio as he talks about creating the covers, his favorite Star Wars characters and more. Plus we have an exclusive first look at the cover of Legacy #7 courtesy of Dark Horse Comics.
How did you get the offer to do Star Wars covers for Dark Horse Comics?
Livio Ramondelli: It was very random and very lucky! I attend a bunch of comic conventions and I was sitting at my Artist Alley table when the great Randy Stradley happened to walk by and take my card. A few days later, I got an E-Mail asking if I’d be interested in doing some covers. It was very surreal, since Randy was someone I’d always hoped to meet one day and the idea of it happening so completely casually was pretty funny. Needless to say, I’m thrilled to be doing Star Wars covers for Dark Horse. It’s a real dream come true. And I also encourage anyone interested in doing comics professionally to go to conventions and set up shop at a table, regardless if you have any current professional gigs or not. More eyes on your work is always a good thing and you never know who can walk by. Continue Reading Our Interview with Cover Artist Livio Ramondelli…
