May the 4th Giveaway

This one is geared toward Star Wars readers. Just leave a comment in this post letting us know who your four favorite Star Wars Force users are, and you could win either a complete set of the Thrawn Trilogy in hardcover, or the first six books in the X-Wing series. We’re treating these as separate drawings, so feel free to enter both. We’re offering free shipping to anyone in the United States (anyone else will have to pay S&H via paypal). Just make sure to let us know which drawings your interested in via your post (ie. “I’m for Thrawn”, “Give Me X-Wings” or “BOTH PLEASE!”). We’ll pick winners at the end of the day on May 4th, so enter now and make sure to include your emails so we can contact you if you win.

My favorite force users would have to be some of the sith villians in tales past. I really have been enjoying the Darth Bane series and many of the Old Republic tales that have been coming out over the past few years.
In addition, I do like Vestara from the new series, sort of curious to see if they do anything else with her.

Both also please… My favorite Force users? Hmmmm. I like Galen Marek, the Secret Apprentice from Force Unleashed… The over the top powers plus the story and is he a clone of himself or what? It’s awesome. I like Jaina Solo too for her story and her efficient use of the Force. But finally a I love Luke Skywalker. He really came in to his own as the new Master of the Jedi Order.

My favorite force users would have to begin with Bardan Jusik from the Republic Commando series. He becomes more than just a jedi following the rules and I love him for that. I also tend to like the darker side of the force. I like Lord Starkiller from the Force Unleashed DLC, especially on Hoth when he forces Luke to become his apprentice, really well done story. Darth Revan is one of my favorites as well. That twist was superb and i really felt like it was one of the greatest stories told in the Star Wars Universe. Lastly is Darth Vader. My favorite villain of all time and also my favorite Star Wars character of all time. I have fond memories of watching Vader as a child.

My four favorite would have to be Darth Caedus, Darth Bane, Kerra Holt, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. I liked Darth Caedus because I grew into loving Jacen in the NJO books and then to slowly watch him fall to the dark side was very dramatic, but at the same time you could feel sympathy for him as you see him make the only decisions that he thought were available. Darth Bane is awesome simply due to the fact that he is Darth Bane! Everybody craves that inner bad guy sometimes and Darth Bane delivers. Kerra Holt I thought was cool because she is taking on Sith solo! And of course, Obi-Wan Kenobi. By far my favorite person in the galaxy! Stoked for the Kenobi book coming out soon!

My favoties are Jaina “Sward of the Jedi” Solo, Kyp Durron, Tenel Ka & Darth Malgus. Looking forward to the new Jaina books to see where her and Jag Fel end up. Kyp really grew during the NJO books. Tenel Ka is a strong characture and I want to see how her and Allana get along in the future. Final one of the best Sith masters, Malgus is AWESOME!!

Both please. And while I haven’t read far enough to know how she turns out in the end, Tenel Ka Djo is my favorite force user. All the awesome of her mom with a lightsaber too? Swoon. I’d say my favorite force users have to be the old Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. There was such a diverse group, from Mace Windu to Quinlan Voss. I love the way the Jedi interacted with the Clone troopers, and while that trust was ultimately exploited by the Sith, it made from some truly memorable pairings and battles.

By far my favorite force users are Obi-Wan Kenobi, as played by Ewan MacGregor, because he’s so true to the conflicts of his role. I also like Mars Jade for being a strong woman who can also be a wife and mother, not to mention assassin. Finally there is Lowbacca, because there’s nothing Luke a wookie with the force. Always let the wookie win.

Thrawn please. There are so many awesome force users out there, its hard to choose, but i would say my favorites are Shaak Ti, Kyle Katarn, Kit Fisto, and Mara Jade.

If I have to choose just one force user, I’d have to say it’d probably be Jaina Solo (Sword of the Jedi). She’s so bad ass and has had to deal with so much (losing both brothers…killing one herself) and still keeping it together enough to lead the charge. I sure hope the Sword of the Jedi series isn’t cancelled.

four favorite force users…there are so many to choose from but I if i had to choose I would probably go with : Revan, Antares Draco, Jaina Solo, and of course yoda.

BOTH PLEASE!!
My favorite force users would have to be as follows, and in no particular order:
Revan because he is the ultimate gray Jedi and the plot twist was just as shocking as Vader being luke’s father!
Corran Horn because he has the cocky Correlian attitude, overcomes telepathy problems and is an Ace Xwing pilot.
Ben Skywalker because though only a teenager has been though so much. I really liked seeing him grow up as he traveled with Luke.
Jaina Solo: she is crazy powerful, the Sword of the Jedi, Ace pilot, trained with Boba Fett, and is engaged to the Chiss raised head of the Imperial Remnant.
