To kick things off, how about some reassuring news regarding Dark Horse Comics and Star Wars. According to Bleeding Cool, Star Wars will be with Dark Horse Comics for the entirety of 2014.
They will continue to make Darth Vader miniseries, Star Wars Legacy will remain an ongoing book and will alternate between artists every six issues and the mini-series based on George Lucas’ original drafts, The Star Wars, will have a radically different logo to differentiate it.
Star Wars artist Dave Dorman did a video interview with Slice of SciFi which you can watch here. Dave talks about how he got started and what he’s up to now.
J.W. Rinzler shared some on the Star Wars Blog about his upcoming mini-series from Dark Horse Comics called The Star Wars. According to Rinzler, artist Mike Mayhew has finished the art for the first issue, which is now in the hands of colorist Rain Beredo, and Mike is starting in on issue #2. Meanwhile Rinzler himself is currently working on adapting issue #5, so work is well underway for the eight issue series. He also mention cover variants which should excite collectors.
Star Wars author Tim Lebbon was interviewed on the latest episode of Jedi Journals which you can listen to here. The interview kicks in around the 41 minute mark.

Kevin J. Anderson revealed the cover for Mentats of Dune done by Stephen Youll. The book is scheduled for release next Spring.
Star Wars artist Stephane Roux revealed he’ll be heading to Big Wow ComicFest in San Jose, CA which runs May 18-19.
