PH: I think the EU will always continue to be part of the Star Wars experience, in that there are stories that are best suited for books, comics, games. etc.. The relationship between cinematic content and expanded universe content will continue to be what it is today and has been in the past. What happens on screen is one thing. What happens in the books is another. How they connect and interact is something I’m really eager to see.

There’s a lot happening tomorrow for May the 4th Be With You, so we’ve compiled a nice rundown of events to help fans enjoy the day to its fullest.

Amazon is running a 50% off sale on the Blu-ray sets for the Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy.

Chronicle Books is doing a giveaway on their Facebook page, and they’re offering 30% off their Star Wars books if you use the coupon code MAY4 on their site.

To kick things off, how about some reassuring news regarding Dark Horse Comics and Star Wars. According to Bleeding Cool, Star Wars will be with Dark Horse Comics for the entirety of 2014.

They will continue to make Darth Vader miniseries, Star Wars Legacy will remain an ongoing book and will alternate between artists every six issues and the mini-series based on George Lucas’ original drafts, The Star Wars, will have a radically different logo to differentiate it.
